scottR. Scott Cramer has been a practicing attorney in the Perry County area for over 35 years. Mr. Cramer served 24 years in the Perry County District Attorney’s Office, 20 of which were as the District Attorney. He was elected to office five times during that period.
As District Attorney, he was involved in numerous high-profile cases including the Appalachian Trail double murder for which he obtained two death verdicts. His office was also the first to successfully defend the constitutionality of Pennsylvania’s then new mandatory drunk driving law.
Several of his cases have been featured in such diverse publications as the Wall Street Journal, Pennsylvania Farm Journal, and People Magazine. He was also the subject of a “Top Cop” television episode.
His private practice now focuses on Personal Injury/Wrongful Death cases, as well as Real Estate, Wills, and Estate Administration.


benBen Cramer, a resident of Perry County, is a graduate of Newport High School where he was involved in many activities and sports.  Ben graduated in 2004 from Lycoming College and received his Juris Doctorate in 2011 from Widener University School of Law.  At Widener, Ben completed the seven-day Intensive Trial Advocacy Program, which is designed to sharpen trial advocacy skills.  During law school, Ben clerked for the Harrisburg personal injury firm, Handler, Henning, and Rosenberg while taking evening classes.  He earned the Certificate of Achievement in Legal Methods, the course which teaches legal analysis, drafting, and communication.   Ben also interned in the Perry County Public Defender’s office during the summer of 2011. Mr. Cramer focuses his practice on personal injury, criminal defense, and family law.
